What is my voice mail PIN?
Use your voice mail PIN to access voice mail for your campus phone number.
Before You Begin
By default, your voice mail personal identification number (PIN) is 0000.
When you initially set up your voice mail, you will be prompted to change it to something personal. You can also change your PIN at a later time. For security reasons, the voice mail system may periodically require you to change your PIN.
Voice Mail PIN
To access your voice mail, you must enter your voice mail PIN. By default, your voice mail PIN is 0000.
The first time you use your PIN to set up your voice mail, you will be prompted to change it to something personal and secret. You can change your security code at any time.
Problems with your Voice Mail PIN
If you do not know your voice mail PIN or if it is no longer working, you can request to have it reset back to the default.
First, verify that you cannot access your voice mail with the default security code (0000). If you continue to have problems, please do one of the following:
- Go to the Support & Requests section of this website. On the Phone tab, fill out a problem report. This will generate an Incident for your problem, which will be sent to Telecommunications & Networking.
- Contact the Help Desk. Explain that you need to have your voice mail security code reset back to the default. A Help Desk analyst will log your request and send an Incident to Telecommunications & Networking.
A member of Telecommunications & Networking will contact you once your voice mail security code has been reset.
