Installing the Exchange profile for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
Install the Exchange profile to configure your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad device for Exchange at Illinois State University.
Before You Begin
Download the Exchange profile using iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad to configure your device for use with Exchange at Illinois State University. Installing this profile will configure your device to sync Exchange calendar, contacts, and email.
You must complete these instructions using Safari on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
Install the Exchange Profile for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
To install the Exchange profile for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad do the following:
- Launch Safari on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
- Using Safari, download the Exchange Profile.
- You must use Safari on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to download and install the Exchange profile.
- You can browse to this download by going to the Help Desk home page at http://helpdesk.illinoisstate.edu/. Then click Downloads > Exchange Profile > Download Exchange Profile for iPhone/iPod Touch.
- Safari will close and you will see a window named Install Profile.
- Press the Install button.
- A message will appear which says, Unverified Profile: The authenticity of "Exchange" cannot be verified. Installing this profile will change the settings on your iPhone. Click Install Now.
- If you have a passcode set on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, enter it when prompted.
- Enter your email address in the box labeled, Enter your email address for the Exchange server ISU Exchange.
- Press Next.
- Enter your ULID in the box labeled Enter your username for the Exchange server "ISU Exchange."
- Press Next.
- Enter your password in the box labeled Enter your password for the Exchange profile.
- This is your ULID password.
- Press Next.
- You will see a message that says, Profile Installed.
- Press Done.
Exchange is now configured on your device. You can now access your Exchange email and calendar.
