Sending attachments in RedbirdMail

Send file attachments using your university email account in RedbirdMail.

To send file attachments in RedbirdMail, do the following:

  1. Do one of the following
  2. Your Inbox opens and displays a list of your email messages.
  3. Open a new message and compose it as normal.
  4. At the bottom of the Message Composition window, click the Browse... button.
  5. Browse to the file you want to attach; select the desired file and click Open.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 for each file you want to attach.
  7. Click the Update button.
  8. Click the Send Message button to send the email.

Here are some tips:

  • Click Save Attachments with message in sent-mail folder and choose Yes if you want access to your attachments later.
  • The maximum attachment size is displayed in the Attachments section of the window.
  • After attaching files to the message, the total attachment size is displayed in the Attachments section of the Message Composition window.
