How to clear your Java cache in Windows
If you are having problems accessing content through Java, clearing your Java cache may resolve the problem.
To clear your Java cache in Windows, do the following:
- Click Start > Control Panel.
- Locate the Java icon and open it. To find the Java icon, do one of the following:
- Click Programs. Then click Java 32-bit.
- Enter
javain the search box in the upper-right corner of the Control Panel window and press Enter. Then double-click Java 32-bit.
- Click Settings... under Temporary Internet Files on the General tab.
- Click Delete Files....
- The Delete Temporary Files window appears. Make sure all boxes are selected with check marks and click OK.
- Click OK again.
- Click OK again to close the Java Control Panel window.
You have cleared your Java cache.
