Connecting with VPN on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
Use VPN to access restricted resources from off campus on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Before You Begin
Download and install the VPN profile on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. For more information, refer to 1488: Installing the VPN profile for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
You should connect to VPN only when you need to access restricted resources on the campus network. For normal Internet usage, please make sure VPN is turned off.
Connecting with VPN on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
To connect with VPN using iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, do the following:
- Press Settings.
- Press the VPN switch to change it from Off to On.
- Your device will automatically connect to VPN.
- Enter your ULID and password if you are prompted to do so.
- When you get connected, you will see a message that says, VPN Connection Welcome to ISU. Click OK.
While you are connected to VPN, a VPN symbol appears at the top of iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Disconnecting from VPN
To disconnect from VPN, do the following:
- Press Settings.
- Press the VPN switch to change it from On to Off.
