Configuring Jabra GN9350e wireless headset to work with Cisco VOIP phones
Configure your Jabra GN9350e wireless base station to use DHSG so you can use it to answer calls.
With its default settings, the button on the Jabra GN9350e wireless headset cannot be used to receive calls. You must set the base station to use DHSG so that the headset button will work.
If you don't complete these instructions, you can still use the Jabra GN9350e wireless headset to receive calls, but to do so, you must press the Answer button on your Cisco VOIP phone when it rings.
To configure your Jabra GN9350e base station, do the following:
- Assemble and connect the wireless headset and base station by following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Remove the cover from the base station.
- Notice that five icons appear on the display screen.
- Using the arrow pad located to the right of the display screen, select the second icon. This icon looks like a phone handset.
- Using the arrow pad, scroll down so the pointer is next to DHSG.
- Press the OK button in the center of the arrow pad.
- The base station will restart.
You can now use the buttons on the Jabra GN9350e wireless headset to receive calls.
