End of Support for McAfee VirusScan 4.51
Illinois State University will end official support for McAfee VirusScan 4.51 on October 1, 2009.
As of October 1, 2009, Illinois State University will no longer support McAfee VirusScan 4.51, a legacy version of VirusScan designed for computers running Windows 95/98/ME.
Once support for the product ends, McAfee VirusScan 4.51 will no longer be available for download through the University Computer Help Desk website. McAfee VirusScan 4.51 will lose its status as officially supported software through the University Computer Help Desk.
If you currently use McAfee VirusScan 4.51, you may continue to do so. Local technical support units may opt to continue providing technical support to faculty and staff who still use McAfee VirusScan 4.51.
