How to delete files from your personal blog
Follow these instructions to delete files from your personal blog.
Before You Begin
You are granted 50MB of disk space on the personal blog server. If you reach your limit, you must delete some files before you can upload others. For more information, refer to 1521: What is my disk quota for my personal blog?.
Delete Files From Your Personal Blog
To delete files from your personal blog, do the following:
- Go to http://my.ilstu.edu/.
- Click Login to My Blog.
- Enter your ULID and password, and click Login.
- The amount of space you are using is displayed under Storage Space.
- The total amount of space you have been granted (50MB) is shown on the left.
- Your current usage is shown on the right.
- Click either your total (50MB) or your current usage to see a list of files you've uploaded to the blogs server.
Delete One File at a Time
To delete one file at a time, do the following:
- Move your mouse over the file you want to delete. As you do so, you will see three options: Edit, Delete, and View.
- Click Delete.
- When the confirmation dialog appears, click OK.
Delete Multiple Files at Once
To delete multiple files at once, do the following:
- Do one of the following:
- Put a check mark next to each item you want to delete.
- Put a check mark in the very top box. This selects all files on the page. Remove the check mark from each file you want to keep.
- Select Delete from the drop-down menu labeled Bulk Actions.
- Click Apply.
- When the confirmation dialog appears, click OK.
- Repeat this process to delete additional files you want to delete that may have been on a different page.
