How to uninstall Cisco Clean Access (CCA) agent for Mac OS X

Follow these instructions to remove the CCA agent for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.

To uninstall the Cisco Clean Access (CCA) agent for Mac OS X, do the following
  1. Quit the CCA agent if it is running.
    • To do this, click the CCA agent icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Then click Quit.
  2. Go to Macintosh HD > Applications
  3. Move the folder named CCA Agent to the Trash.
  4. Go to Macintosh HD > Users > [user account] > Library > Application Support  > Cisco Systems (where [user account] is the name of your computer account).
  5. Move the CCAAgent folder to the Trash.
  6. From the Finder menu, click Go > Connect to Folder....
  7. In the Go to the folder: box, type /sbin and then click Go.
  8. Move the dhcp_refresh file to the Trash.
  9. Hold down on the Trash icon and select Empty Trash.
  10. Quit any open applications and restart the computer.
You have now removed CCA agent for Mac OS X.
