After logging in to WebVPN using Firefox, you get a blank, white page. These instructions provide a work-around to this problem.

Before You Begin

When you log in to WebVPN at https://webvpn.ilstu.edu/ with Firefox for Windows, you get a blank, white page. You cannot use WebVPN.

It is possible to use Firefox for Windows to log in to WebVPN. To do so, you must change the WebVPN web address after logging in.

Use Firefox with WebVPN

To use Firefox for Windows with WebVPN, do the following:

  1. Using Firefox, go to https://webvpn.ilstu.edu/ and log in.
  2. After logging in, you will see a blank, white page.
  3. Locate the web address in the Location bar at the top of your Firefox window. The web address will look like this:
  4. Delete yes and type no at the end of the web address. Then press Enter. The modified web address should look like this:
  5. WebVPN will load in your Firefox browser.

You may now use WebVPN in Firefox for Windows. Each time you log in to WebVPN in Firefox, you must perform these steps.
