How to submit an assignment in Blackboard

Blackboard allows you to view an assignment, submit your work, and review instructor feedback.

Before You Begin

The Assignments section of Blackboard contains four tabs:

  • Inbox — Contains information on incomplete assignments, including the assignment name, type (group or individual), and due date. Assignments returned to students for correction will also appear in the Inbox and will appear as Attempt #2.
  • Submitted — A list of assignments that have been submitted but not yet graded.
  • Graded — A list of assignments that have been graded. Click on an assignment title to read the instructor's comments.
  • Published — A list of published assignments. Click on an assignment's title to view it.
