Uninstalling Network Connect on Mac OS X
Unlike most Mac applications, the WebVPN application, Network Connect, has an uninstall utility that must be used to correctly remove it.
To uninstall Network Connect on Mac OS X, do the following:
- Log in to WebVPN at http://webvpn.ilstu.edu.
- Launch Network Connect.
- Click Network Connect on the menu bar.
- Click Uninstall Network Connect....
- Click Uninstall and Quit.

If you attempt to remove the Network Connect application by dragging it to the Trash on Mac OS X, you will be unable to reinstall it through WebVPN. Instead, you will get the error, "Failed to launch Network Connect."
