How to clear your browser cache and cookies in Firefox

Clearing the cache and cookies in Firefox removes temporary Internet files accumulated by normal web browsing activity.

Each web browser stores temporary Internet files in its browser cache and cookies. If you are having problems accessing a certain website, you may resolve the problem by clearing your browser cache and cookies.

To clear your cache and cookies in Firefox, do the following:

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click Tools > Clear Recent History....
  3. Select Everything from the menu labeled Time range to clear:.
  4. Put a check mark next to each item, and click Clear Now. You may ignore any items that are grayed out.
  5. Close Firefox.

Your browser cache and cookies for Firefox have now been cleared.
