How to clear your browser cache and cookies in Safari
Clearing the cache and cookies in Safari removes temporary Internet files accumulated by normal web browsing activity.
Each web browser stores temporary Internet files in its browser cache and cookies. If you are having problems accessing a certain website, you may resolve the problem by clearing your cache and cookies.
To clear your cache in Safari, do the following:
- Open Safari.
- Click Safari > Reset Safari....
- Put a check mark next to each item, and click Reset. You may ignore any items that are grayed out.
- Close Safari.
Your browser cache and cookies for Safari have now been cleared.
