How to manually remove McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
To manually remove McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) from your computer, follow these instructions.
Remove McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) can be removed using Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel. If you are unable to remove ePO through Add or Remove Programs, you may uninstall it manually by following the directions below.
ePO for McAfee VirusScan 8.0i
- Click Start > Run.
- Type
cmdand press Enter. - Type
cd\and press Enter. - Type
cd program filesand press Enter. - Type
cd network associatesand press Enter. - Type
cd common frameworkand press Enter. - Type
frminst /remove=agentand press Enter. - The McAfee Agent and Updater Setup window will open and begin removing ePolicy Orchestrator.
- When it is finished, open Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel. If McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator is still in the list of installed applications, call the Help Desk for advanced instructions on removing the entry.
