When installing a program that uses InstallShield Wizard, you get the error, "Please Insert Disk 1 That Contains the File layout.bin." (Figure 1)

To resolve this problem, do the following:

1. Click Start > Run
2. Clear out the box labeled Open:.
3. Drag and drop the installer file you are using into the Open: box.
4. The directory path to the installer file should automatically appear in the box. (Figure 2)
5. At the end of the directory path in the Open: box, type the following: -a -deleter (make sure you put one space before each dash). (Figure 3)
6. Click OK.

Run the installer file again. This time, you should be able to install the program, and you should no longer receive this error.
