Adding speed dial phone numbers on your Ericsson digital phone

You can store up to ten phone numbers and assign them to speed dial numbers on your Ericsson digital phone.

Add a Speed Dial Number

To store a number for speed dialing, do the following:

  1. Pick up the handset and press *51*.
  2. Press a number (0-9) to which you will assign the stored phone number.
    • This is the speed dial number.
  3. Dial the phone number to be stored.
    • Stored numbers may be up to 20 digits long.
  4. Listen for the confirmation tone. Then hang up.

Remove a Speed Dial Number

  • To remove a stored number, pick up the handset and press ** followed by #51* and the speed dial number. Listen for the tone and hang up.

Dialing Speed Dial Numbers

To use your speed dial numbers, do the following:

  • Pick up the handset and pressing ** followed by the associated speed dial number.
  • For example, to dial the phone number associated with speed dial number 1, you would press **1.
