Making and accepting a second call on your Ericsson digital phone

If you are talking on Access 1 on your Ericsson digital phone, you can make a new call without hanging up. You can also still receive calls by using the “Accept Second Call” button.

Making a second call

To make a second call, do the following:

  1. If you are talking on Access 1 and want to make a second call without hanging up, press Access 2. This will put Access 1 on hold.
  2. Dial the phone number you want to call.
  3. To switch back to the first caller, press Access 1. This will put Access 2 on hold.
  4. To end one of the calls, switch to Access 1 or Access 2, and then press Clear.

Accepting a second call

To accept a second call, do the following:

  1. To turn on your phone’s ability to receive a second call, press the button labeled Accept Second Call on your phone.
    • Note: If you are talking on Access 1 when someone else calls you, the light on your phone next to Access 2 will light up.
  2. Press the Access 2 button to answer the second call. This will put Access 1 on hold.
  3. To switch back to the first caller, press Access 1. This will put Access 2 on hold.
  4. To end one of the calls, switch to Access 1 or Access 2, and then press Clear.
