How to manage the personal address book for your VoIP phone through the Cisco Unified CM User Options website

Your VoIP phone includes a personal address book. Log in to the Cisco Unified CM User Options website to manager your personal address book.

Before You Begin

Your VoIP phone includes a personal address book.

To manage your VoIP phone's personal address book, you must log in to the Cisco Unified CM User Options website. You can also search your personal address book through that website.

After you have added entries to your personal address book through the website, you can search and dial numbers from your personal address book directly on your VoIP phone.

Add a Personal Address Book Entry

To add a personal address book entry to your VoIP phone, do the following:

  1. Go to http://voip.ilstu.edu/.
    • If you receive a message about an Untrusted Certificate, click to proceed to the site anyway.
  2. Login with your ULID and password
  3. Click User Options > Personal Address Book.
  4. Click Add New.
  5. Complete as many fields as you’d like.
    • The only required field is Nick Name.
    • We recommend you enter at least one phone number.
  6. Click Save.

The entry has been added to your personal address book and can now be access through both the Cisco Unified CM User Options website and your VoIP phone.

Delete a Personal Address Book Entry

To delete a personal address book entry from your VoIP phone, do the following:

  1. Go to http://voip.ilstu.edu/ and log in with your ULID and password.
  2. Click User Options > Personal Address Book.
  3. Click the Find button to see a list of personal address book entries.
  4. Put a check mark next to each entry you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete Selected.
  6. A message appears warning you that this action cannot be undone. Click OK.

The entry has been deleted from your personal address book on your VoIP phone.
